Telestack install a 1200TPH Truck Unloader and TS 1242 Radial Telescopic Conveyor for Iron Ore Production in India
Telestack International Ltd have again shown there flexibility to meet the needs of the customer, with the development of a Truck Un-loading and Stockpiling application for Fomento Industries, a prominent Iron Ore producer in Goa, India.

What was the situation before the Telestack machine?
Before the purchase of the Telestack Machinery, Fomento Industries were using a number 10 tonne trucks to transport the material around the site. They were dumping the material in a pile, with the next truck dumping on top of the current pile, with many of the trucks having to drive up the stockpile to gain a sufficient stockpile height. Loading shovels were then moving the material to other parts of the site to save space and also to try and minimise the compaction of the material.
What is the situation now?
From purchasing the TS 1242 and RH – 1220 Truck Un-loader the company have cut down the need for the loading shovels, as the trucks simply empty the iron ore into the truck un-loader which feeds the TS 1242, which then using the PLC Stockpiling Program, automatically stockpiles the material through many different parts throughout the site stockpiling up to 40,320 t/m3 @ 120 degrees and also ensuring the quality of the iron ore is maintained. Also, this application is not just used in stockpiling, it is been incorporated into barge loading with ease, which decreases the production downtime.
