Kelly's of Fantane located in Tipperary in the South of Ireland, acquired the TS - 624 T as a variable link conveyor as part of their Chipping Plant for Concrete and Tar Production.
What was the situation before the Telestack machine?
Before the acquisition of the 2 x TS – 624T Conveyors the customer was experiencing frustrating downtime most days in re-positioning the entire crushing and screening plant. As all of the secondary plant had to be leveled and repositioned daily the client was loosing considerable production ‘down time’ as a result of this.
What is the situation now?
Telestack TS – 624 has been utilized in one of the largest mobile crushing and screening plant in Europe, as part of a chipping plant for concrete and tar production. By utilizing the TS - 624 as a variable length link conveyor between the primary Kleemann 140 Jaw Crusher and primary cone/screen combination the client is attaining much better production tonnages. The secondary plant is now left in a central position and only the TS 624 and primary jaw are moved to pick up the blast. Also, with the use of the second 624T as a stockpiling conveyor it allows for an easy distribution of the material within the site. This minimizes degradation, compaction and segregation of the material.

The TS 624T was finished to a high specification to meet the direct needs of the client; it was painted to blend into the already operating Kleemann plant and incorporated such features as rip stop belting, tail shaft rotation monitors and full radio remote control on all functions of the machine. This same company bought a 35 tonne dust hopper to minimize dust pollution and cut out the double handling of material.
