Description

Telestacks Dockside Unloading systems offer an easy way to effectively unload vessels and transfer the material directly to trucks, mobile/fixed link conveyors, warehouses and stockyards. By eliminating the double handling of material from direct unloading and by using the existing ship loading/ stacking equipment, Telestack's  provides a multi functional system.

 

OPTIONS

  • Available in various specifications from simple Hoppers to a DUH with full environmental dust control/extraction
  • Available in entry sizes from 6.0 to 12.0m and able to receive from Grabs up to 30m³
  • Design is based on a unique octagonal shape that ensure optimum performance with minimum hopper valley angles and maximum structural integrity
  • Can be supplied as LLD – Low Level Discharge direct to dockside conveyors or HLD – High Level Discharge direct to Trucks
  • Electric or Diesel engine drives
  • Standard filtration packages from international suppliers to ensure local availability of spares and support
  • Wide range of mobility options from simple tractor towing to self-propelled Inline or Inline and parallel travel
  • Environmental dust control options to suit all materials and the most arduous of environments
  • Discharge systems to load direct to conveyors/truck and even rail wagons
  • Can be supplied as either static hopper bolted to the quay, mobile on rubber tyres or rail mounted systems

  • Available as either fully assembled or flat pack design for assembly on site
  •  On site assembly/installation can be complete in as little as 1-2 weeks
  • Subject to location it may be possible to ship a Hopper fully assembled “Port to Port”
  • Unloading bulk material from vessels using a DUH Hopper ensures a clean dock and no dust pollution
  • Discharging material into a DUH Hopper rather than straight to the dock eliminates the downtime and high cost of the clean-up operation
  • Using a DUH Hopper is the most cost-efficient and en­vironmentally sound method of vessel unloading
  •  Increased unloading capacities
  • Handling rates of up to 2000 tph (mobile harbour crane) and 5000tph (self-discharging vessels)

Applications

  • To unload a very wide range of bulk materials di­rect to truck, freight train or conveyor belt
  • Vessels from small barges up to Cape size vessels can be unloaded efficiently
  • Bulk material can be fed to the Hopper from either dockside grab or self-discharging vessel
  • With Hopper mobility and control, fast positioning (Hatch Change) and vessel unloading can be achieved
