Telestack reach another quality milestone

Local engineering company Telestack have achieved another milestone in its drive for operational excellence, having recently been awarded UKAS accreditation covering the following recognised global standards; ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety Management), in addition to our existing accreditation to ISO 9001 (Quality Management).

Telestack adopted the approach of creating a fully Integrated Management System (IMS), which links together Quality, Safety, and Environmental management systems which when coupled with our Lean Manufacturing Strategy creates a powerful tool for accelerating continual improvement within our entire value chain, and creating additional growth opportunities within the organisation. The Telestack Integrated Management System (IMS) ensures that anything which has an effect on overall business performance is monitored, actioned and improved as a natural part of our business culture.

This much coveted award has recognised the stringent internal management practices that Telestack operate within to ensure that the organisation, processes, people and culture are aligned with the company’s purpose and mission.

Telestack has just surpassed their 15th year in business and have recently been purchased by the American multi-national Astec Industries, Inc. (ASTE) and operate from a modern 32,000 square metre site in the Bankmore Industrial Estate in Omagh.
